Do you love big bluegill?
This fish really wasn't a big fighter and I think I figured out why........

Usually, a small tail and fins will indicate a fish that has grown very rapidly.... the body simply outgrew the tail. That fish has mature coloration, and what appears to be larger eyes, which to me would indicate an older fish. Not quite sure what to make of it.
What ever the case, it's a frying pan species that that nice lip ring.
It's a decent size Gill but the tail is very small in ratio to the body.....
Is the Gill that big or the tail that small.
Man, that thing barely has a tail to move his body with. Jeez!
