Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

This is one of my Crappie holes with deep water adjacent to all this cover.....I'll work live minnows around all the downed trees....This place is packed with bluegill in the Spring through the Fall..............

I need to go by and take this photo again......this was a pine tree so it's breaking down quickly but will still hold fish........place is full of big gills and slab black crappie........

We should visit this location at least once....fishing is great in this area.......multiple species and quality fish!

Gateway to big gills.....my biggest gill in 2012 was within sight of this spot......
