Ah i see, that's good news. Yeah, i tend to run heavier line because i don't have the skills yet to bring in a larger fish on lighter line. The one with the cajun line is for catfishin/fishin in the big lake by my house where the large stuff lurks, so i'd rather not break my line as much. The other rods have 6lb test of i think one trilene and one stren. those are my creek fishin/pond fishin rods where the chances of catching something real big are slimmer.

The Cajun red is a Zebco product, intended for heavier uses I believe. I have seen 6 lb. test, but that is the lowest and not normally available.

Zebco's OMEGA mono is the low test stuff, and goes down to 2lb. Both are excellent mono lines.

It's not bad at all. Just wondering. I like it's ultra red color to give me the high visibility in the water. Too bad it doesn't have the lower pound test for usages. The lowest I've seen was 8#. I wish they do it for the 2# and 4#.

Is that Red Cajun mono? or could it be the PowerPro red braid?
