LOVE THE RECEIPE LEO !! THANKS BUDDY !!
Wow man great variety ! Thanks for the recipe!
Trout, tilapia, carp, white bass, stripers, catfish, shark, stingray, and even octopus and squid.
Sounds great Leo ! What fish have you eaten this way?
John, every try open flame grill, with peanut sauce?
Grilling sauce:
Cut up half an onion, use a pan, and add enough oil to cover the onion. Cook the onion to caramel color at medium-low fire. Leave the onion inside the oil. Use the oil to coat the fish during grilling.
Gut, clean, and grill on the low open fire the whole fish.
Dripping/glaze sauce:
1 tbsp of sesame oil
2 tbsp of peanut butter, either chunky or smooth)
1/4 teaspoon of cracker peppercorns
1/4 tspn of brown sugar
A pinch of clove
1/2 tsp of low sodium soy sauce, or me, I like to use 1 tspn of hoison sauce
1/4 tsp of rice wine
A pinch of garlic powder and onion powder
Use a small bowl, add tbsp of water, heat up for 15 seconds. Add in everything and blend well. Decorate the fish over a bed of lettuce you want to wrap with. This is a survival mix with traditional fish meal fusion.
There's a curry method as well, which enhance perch flavors to the extreme as well.
I have yet to try Peanut oil Dick .Gotta try that! Slip this morning at 11:30 the Perch werent there or were but not hitting .I'll go back later and see if they are at a long cast away like they were yesterday.I got a water temp 2 degrees lower than sunny yesterday .It's overcast and rainy here today and the water temp was Lmost 50 degrees .
... nice eater there John...
yesterday i was verticall jigging in about 8 FOW to sonar signals above 1-0 of grass... they ended up Y.Perch... mostly small males... they were spraying milt all over the place while unhooking. so spawning mode at 49-50 degs over here.
John I like mine scaled/fillets dredged in an egg, then flour with baking powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and Lowreys season salt. Fried in peanut oil or a good vegetable oil Crisco.
Great eating right there John , I'm jealous !!!
How do they normally eat the fishes John? Base on how they like their fishes cooked, I'll spin off on their taste preferences.
