Same here. Clouds were coming in. Barometric pressure was all over the place. Temperature flux like crazy. Fish were not biting aggressively at all.
Thanks John......this particular creek has a pretty steep drop off from three out to roughly twelve feet.....the Fliers appeared to be sitting near five to six on this slope and they would come up to strike so you had to watch closely for subtle movement of your float sometimes just a little turn or twitch........the wind tide was drifting my presentation from deep water into this slope and you could count down the hit.......

I've got a few locations that I can catch the sunfish limit with all Fliers both in North Carolina and extreme southeastern Virginia........not very common though as you suggest Dick.....
