I have a few of these in the past. Very effective on calm nights during summer time. Fish magnet. The ultimate killer if you use a green lamp to float it near the fly. Major killing.

Tenkara flies - effective and simple to tie. Just like their poles - Simple.

They would HAVE to be deadly on shallow gills. I'll take a dozen!

Some Tenkara anglers use one fly type for all fishing. Can't get more simple then that.

thanks, i was thinking about different colors but im gonna try to really simplify my fishing gear and tying materials. the hooks are pips caddis.

Nice Partridge and Orange Sakasa Kebari, Not uncommon to also tie in purple, yellow, red and green. Did you use #12 scud hooks.
