".it seems that fly assortments in a decent box sell pretty well..."

Something like that. Lets not give ALL my secrets away, eh? :)

david you already have a supply of flies right here if needed.most flies here have gone through the trial and error and have proven to be fish catchers.i got boxes full of beautiful flies i like to look at the fish agreed and looked at em and swam away.hate when they give you the FIN.it seems that fly assortments in a decent box sell pretty well.i searched for some inexpensive boxes just never found what i needed.

Yeah thanks Joe - Ive seen that site/ If I were to get into it I would go that way.

Ive run a website before and could manage it. I am pretty keen on the information and helpful tips angle, too, with workshops, videos, affiliate partners and... well you get the idea. Again, Im contemplating something beyond the tying bench at this stage. What that is, well.... Im gathering options.

Dave

One of the easier models is to open up an internet fly shop. This way you can display your flies, customers order and pay via PayPal. You don't need to carry inventory since you only tie when flies are ordered ordered. You could also offer other peoples flies for a percentage. The advantage is no inventory and immediate feedback on the quality of your flies and service. You could even post  articles and tips.

This site is a good example of what could be set up with a small bit of money.
