Nail polish might make a good base coat or if you just want a solid color. Mark as far as the 12 and 14 might be a bit small for me.

that's a super imitation Dick!  I am sure those will be awesome in the water!  and nice to hear that you found your air brush I have so much fun with experimenting looking for that perfect color scheme. I also set up about 75 poppers ready for paint my first go using size 12 and fourteen hooks might just try a couple of coats of nail polish instead of  paint

Mark I did the 1st thing I airbrushed in 20 years. The perch look the best to me. I did perch, bluegill and green sunfish I put then all on the site or you can see then in my pictures.  Anytime your out my way stop in I'm sure I can't teach you anything but we can airbrush something. I'm glad I found it I know I forgot so much I'll keep painting and hopefully some of it will come back.
