Why reinvent the wheel, when the existing wheel is working quite well ;-) I copied most of the patterns out there as well, unless I found something around the areas that there weren't any pattern created for it yet. While fishing, I've spotted something large, black (size of thumb), crossing between a beetle, a mantis, and 6-legged. Tried to pull my camera out, but I flew away. Been searching ever since on various pages to find out what it was.
