yea Tinknocker when I catch one I'll throw it in the live well and take it home to the pond. I know they don't get big but what a beautiful little gem.

when i say spawn on the bank i mean like in a couple inches of water under over hangs you can locate them watching close to bank they jump out of the water after bugs guarding beds also you can here them splat splat always behind you when your wading casting out to regular gill beds

very aggressive they spawn almost right on the bank and smash everything that comes close very special little fish i catch maybe 4 or 5 in the same location every year

that's a northern long ear they don't get very big also rare on my home lake we don't keep them
