Allen Id much rather use my flyrod but thats the same reason i use jigs is the wind and when fishing deeper than 5'

I agree with Jeff and Leo.  I absolutely slay Hybrid Sunnies and LMB's on Wooly Buggers in Olive.  I'm pretty sure it mimics the Dragonfly nymphs in this pond.  I might have to do some jigs like that to use with my UL rig when it's to freaking windy for a fly rod, which is most days here in OK.

Leo is right!  Those would be killer jigs on our local Lake Perris.  I've done well on both greens and browns.  Now I have to go the some up!
