about 2" on the local ponds... reservoirs ice on the edges that come and go

You also could add a collar of black ice dub or a contrasting color of red or orange.

John I think they look great as they are. If they were mine I'd add just a little flash just to get the fish's attention and I do mean a little and try to keep the flash as close as you can to the color of the jig. Just an Idea.......
