caught several bluegill and warmouth on crappie minnows, fished close to a steep dropping shoreline in 55 degree water. Not huge, just 7.5 to 8 inches. About the biggest this system offers.

I honestly think that the best chance to grow a two pound 'gill involves some minnow eating.
