Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Made up 2 jigs 1/64 oz jellies for me to try in the pond this evening to see how they worked. Tied on a White Pearl cast it out and counted down when I got to 6 it was all over to ride was on. It really took the ultralight rod and reel for a ride. Sorry I got out to late cause it was kinda hard to get a good picture. The striper was 24" I can only guess at the weight. The fish gage it's in is 3' across. What a blast.

Carl I did catch one last year on my fly rod. It was a blast took awhile to get in about a half hour, it was late Oct or early Nov on my 2wt. Your right it don't get any better that that. The picture of that fish is in my photo's.
