Four pounds and Five ounces, will anyone get close to this mark in 2012? The talent and skill is alive in the members of this site....but I truly believe we have to experience some good luck to go with it....But it doesn't hurt me to dream! Good luck everyone....

I agreed with Jim Gronaw! Wow! BIG Bluegill! This is 3rd bluegill picture thatis so far I know! 4 lbs is like double 2 lbs! Trophy dream fish!
I am not sure about 4lbs plus bluegills from Richmond Mill because they grow fast and maybe not live long but we will see what happen in a few years from now! Coppernose Bluegills grow big but rare over 3 lbs so maybe Richmond Mill is possible for big 'gill to hit 4 lbs mark! We will see!
Thanks for show us super 4lbs 5 oz bluegill picture!

I believe this fish went 4 lbs 5 ozs, caught in the 1960's and is the largest bluegill ever caught outside of Ketona Lake. Farmpond catch, I believe.

Richmond Mill is growing the Record Breaker right now. I believe the record will be broken in the next five years.
