Do you love big bluegill?

The Family Record 3lbs 2 ozs... 2lb Test Maxima... Size 10 Jig wrapped in peacock Herl and tinsel tail... Tipped with a cricket... I caught this at Lake Perris California... I swear there's a 4 pounder in there... Just waiting to be introduced.

A BEAST! I tip my hat to the angler that can whip a fish like that on 2 lb line. That is truly impressive. A fight like that would probably give me a heart attack! I'm going to have to head west... Havisaw [sp?] and Perris are topping my wish list now! Thank you for sharing, and... you did have that mounted... right?

What a beast! I would surely make some kinda mess in my waders if I hooked into one of those! Two quesions...

1. Do you think it was the jig or the circket that did it?

2. What is it about Lake Perris?
