The crankbaits didn't work too well this weekend.  What they did like (a lot) was a 1/32 oz jig tipped with Gulp! minnows or fish fry hung below a spinning bubble.  Color didn't seem to matter.

I have one with blue back instead of green and red throat piece that is very good. Mine were bought at Walmart in S. Illinois.

Don't have any snap beans but do have similar ones made by Matzuo(? spelling).

Ya Kelly, everything likes the baby bass lure.  Top row far left is the same lure, different color.  It's a good one too.  I can't remember is they're Rebels but the four on the right are definitely Snap Beans.

Are Those cranks Rebel Super R's and Snap Beans?

Report in on your catches. Looks like a search and destroy mission for surface explosion.

Top row, second from right has been my most productive mini crank color followed by fire tiger.
