Do you love big bluegill?
fish of the day 3.8.16
Caught this one out of a farm pond today and I'm not sure of the species. Could it be a hybrid bluegill/green sunfish? It was 8-9" long & had some weight. Put a good bend in the 2wt fly rod and a smile on my face!
Caught several smaller bluegill also.

I don't see any warmouth, but some green sunfish in there someplace, alright. Bet it did fight well!
