Lake Purdy Bream
This picture is of a blue gill taken on Lake Purdy in Alabama. I went fishing there yesterday afternoon and i could not bait the hook fast enough! They were biting as soon as it hit the water! I did not catch any this big! The ones I got were hand size. Wow what a fish!!!

They said that it was a blue gill and that it weighed 2 pounds exactly. I agree that it looks bigger! This guys hands are huge! Look how far his fat thumb goes into its mouth!! I would be in heaven if i caught one this big!!
