Interesting fish! Look close to warmouth and rock bass! I like to catch shallow bass! look like limited area where fish is pretty rare! Release!

Looks like a Warmouth, or something closely akin to it. Some people call them goggle eye or red eye. The fish I'm holding in my avatar pic is a Warmouth, caught in the upper reaches of South Carolina's Edisto River.

Seeings as you're in FL, warmouth fits. I've caught them off the nest there, in the spring. Beautiful fish
