One of My Nice Black Crappie Today......4/15/2018

Had four good hours this morning before the mist turned to drizzle and culminated with a down pour as predicted.....but we had a good time and a big mess of fish before the rains....made some memories.....

Thanks Slip.........I frequent nine different river systems and all produce solid numbers of Black Crappie up to 16" class fish......all but one have an 8" minimum size limit and the other has a 10" minimum.........the biggest factor to the great crappie fishing since 2014 is the healthy water with no major fish kills in over ten years...........it's exciting to be in the season of excellent weather with such fertile bodies of water..........it's fun to go fishing right now on the Albemarle!
