Great to be able to fish at any time, but work and family's needs can hinder the fishing activities. Wind at 6MPH from SW to NW is a great advantage right now.

I'd be tubing sailboat cove right now. You can drive down to the water and launch....

Jeff is dead on. You can have the exact things, fish the exact spots on the exact day and time that the master angler does, and still fail royally. It requires the finesse techniques, skills, and wisdom to pull the monsters from that lake. I spent enough time on that lake to know the hellish knowledge you must obtain to pull pigs out of the water, aside from getting to the spots, and maintain on the spots while dealing with heavy wakes and windy conditions at times. Ahhhh...reminiscing those float tubing days.

LedHed's spots are not really secret, anyone can spot his boat, but it's more his tackle, technique,  his special jigs and his ability to read and understand that depth/fish finder.  When I go out with my float tube,  I'm pretty much fishing blind, hoping to find a good fish here and there…it's just guesswork.

LOL Now now now. Can't reveal my honey hole sniper secret there Dick. I have a long distance powered binocular, as I sit on the top of Climbers' Cove, observing birds...yep...birds hunting large fishes in the distant honey spots.

It's merely for recording purposes. Got to know how that lake is doing in comparing to the data received from the other anglers from the other lakes during these drastic days. No secrets are revealed to the tail chasers. However, most who have boats, with high end powered sonars, they already mapped out the lake's sweet spots. My human-powered watercraft can't keep up with mid to high end motorized watercrafts, and in no way stabilized enough in one spot to hunt for those elusive huge ones, unless I'm blessed by Lady Luck.

Sonny the fish whisperer is truly knowledgeable when it come to gills. Never ceases to amaze me at some of the beauties that he catches and shows us as I drool all over my computer. Be aware that Leo is in the neighborhood and probably spying on him at this vary moment. Put nothing past Leo he's there with good intentions, to catch some of them great gills and info that Sonny possesses. Beware of all them moving bushes it's really not the wind.

It's funny.. Before I met and started fishing with my neighbor "LedHed" (two streets away) a few years ago,  my largest Bluegill was maybe 9 inches long or so, which is a nice fish in most of our  local lakes.  Now whenever I go out with him,  I hardly ever see a 9 incher.   Most fish are larger, some pushing a foot long!  These big fish are caught because we are fishing in a lake that has a population of very large BGs,  and the fact that Sonny knows the lake so well and where the fish are found.  Plus the right tackle to use and his other well kept secrets.  It's a lot of fun when a big one is hooked because you just can't tell if it's going to finally be that giant 12 inch or over Bluegill!

The water we fish is for hunting big fish - rarely see small BG. You would have to get close to the dam, sit in the marina, or fish the other side (east end) of the lake for "eaters".

On the boat; ~9" you decide, ~10" (or bigger) it goes back. All females with eggs go back.

MEMORIES ??  AND PICTURES ??  = priceless
