thanks guys, about 18 inches.my club stocks them spring and fall.they also stocked some hybrid gills.they also have thes monster grass carp they stocked for vegetation control and they have done their job way to well.this is an old sand pit for the IC railroad,so is all sand bottom with little structure.this place is also a conservation area as they try very hard to replant native trees and plants.well these beavers moved in and the managers kind of freaked as beavers are not to selective of the trees they cut down.but they have helped the fishing alot as the carp have eaten most of the weed beds.i was catching some small crappies when i got this trout.did not know they were even stocked yet.quite a battle on the tiny gear i was using and all the brush in the e=water .i let em go even tho i love trout dinner
