Spent yesterday at Kentucky/Barkley Lake. After chasing down some nice gills Tyler wanted something with a little more fight to it. He got it!
No offense guys! But these things are a blast to catch....

I've got a couple areas here where I can access them from the bank or by wading. I've got another area where I can get to the them from my kayak by trolling.
I've caught lots of little ones, 1 lbs or less. I've tangled with three in the 10 - 13 lbs class.
I'm lucky enough to live in one of the few land-locked areas where Stripers can pull off a successful freshwater spawn. Now, hopefully the ODWC will get the proposed, tighter limits in place.

Live threadfin shad.
Soft plastics work too. 4 - 5" swimbaits will get you bit.
