Do you love big bluegill?
1st attempt at ice jigs. These are on 1/32 oz jig heads. The bottom 2 with glow in the dark chenille will probably be the way I'm sorta leaning towards. Ordered the glow in the dark tail material last night. When I have all my material the entire jig will glow. The jig heads have a white powder base coat with 3 coats of glow in the dark powder paint. Will be attempting 1/64 oz next. I will also be making some ice flies with beads instead of jig heads still thinking on that one lots of different ways I can go on that one..

They look good good Dick.
Thanks Jim and Carl. The top two I just quit not what I was looking for so I think the bottom two is where I'll be putting my interest in.
not just for ice Dickie!! bet those work any time!!!
Nice looking jigs there Dick!
yeah dick i got it sooner than i expected.i could not find what i needed stateside.tuhgsten powder is available but then it must be measured and mixed with epoxy.the wire may or may not work.gotta keep tinkering.the tinkering is the fun part
Jim you have better luck than I getting stuff from China. It usually takes a couple months for me to get something. I was reading and it said the longer it is exposed to the light the longer it will stay charged. I'm still hunting for that magic bullet something I can shine the light on and it will stay charged all month, Ha Ha. On my flies I'm like you small 10,s and 12,s maybe 14's if I can see something that small. Good luck on your tying.
how did the glow paint work dick?i got my assortment in the mail sat.supposed to be the best.hope to get a few protos done this week.i also got some 1mm tungsten wire from china.only took 3 weeks.hard stuff to cut.gonna lsh it on the sides of a hook and over wrap and paint with the powder mixed with clear nail polish.i am going small tho .sz 12 and smaller.
