Too much credit but thanks men. 'Stubborn' might be more accurate Jeff!:)  Dick ,I really like the flasher HB ICE35 .At one point it lit up like a christmas tree and unless I read it wrong ,a pod of baitfish folowed by  predatory fish came swimming under my transducer .Only got two perch on the bottom after that but perhaps I should of then switched up in the column. If I had the moment back ,now thinking they could have been Crappie or Bass,I would have raised my bait and worked the upper column more .

Nice job John. The electronics now a days is a great tool to have. They have come a long way in the last few years. Thanks for the info John and enjoy the ice for the both of us.

Got out yesterday on Cupsaw lake with friend Steve .Slow fishing from 12:30-5:00 caught 10 Yellows.Genz worm,Marmooska,Jesse Feather 32nd oz.Jig,small Swedish Pimple and small jig with rubber legs all caught tipped with Mealies ,Spikes and Waxies.Fish holding tight to bottom able to raise them up no more than two feet.Caught in 12-20 feet.Ice 35 Hummingbird flasher helped identify fish and keep us on the holes that were producing. Its been a real thin catching ice season .Gotta try another lake!

Jeffrey -This was an aggressive fish ,banged a small Marmooska Jig tipped with a bit of perch flesh/skin.The only fish I needed the pliers for to retreive the jig .It doesnt look good anytime soon for the ice fishing .More importantly I hope the rain /weather  doesn't cancel my guitar gigs at the Ski slope the next three Saturday afternoons.
