Do you love big bluegill?

This is one of the pink ones and it has been in a battle.....several big bass and a big Bowfin along with hundreds of nice Coppernose

The old Pink Grass Shrimp must finally be retired after a 10 pound plus Channel Cat did it in....I was fishing alone and trying to net a big catfish on light tackle is a challenge to say the least.....The big cat made a pass without a shot to net him but I did get to see he was larger than the 24 inch fish I caught the other day.........With drag zipping....the cat moved into deeper water and one final lunge parted the fragile hook...sending a historical jig into forced retirement.....Caught some nice fish on it though....Thanks again Jim......

that jig looks like it's had a lot of action this month. i think you might need to make another one. Was the jighead pink?
