Excellent perch Dick, you sure are growing them good in your pond. The way this fall's coming in cold, maybe we will get some fishable ice this year in Ohio. Again, great fish.
That's one thing I miss about fishing in Ohio, perch fishing in Lake Erie. There are yellow perch down here in SC but seldom see any big enough to eat. The Locals call them Eisenhowers for some reason I haven't figured out yet.
Thanks Rick threw him back so he could grow up. I put 30 in the pond last year in the spring this is one of them. They done so well I put 300 more in this spring all about 6" next year they should look like this one.
Now that's a perch
Ken when its full about 16 foot is down about 2 feet now.
how deep is tabbert pond?
Yea Tony they grow fast if you feed them. If you plan on feeding them you'll want pellet trained but you probably already know that and if your not going to feed them It really doesn't mater.
Nice perch Dick...I may be adding some of those in a couple weeks myself.
Ken it hasn't iced up enough for me in the last 2 years hoping this will be the year. Got a Vexilar a couple years ago and ain't got to turn it on yet.
