Thanks Dwayne and David! No Leo they dont glow in the dark.I have some bigger ones #4 and #5 by BlueFox that do glow though .Haven't used them yet . They have single hooks on them .I 'll probably tip them with Kalin Grubs. The size three Sonic Spinners pictured are great panfish catchers and cast great on 4# test. They've caught Gills ,Bass and Trout for me ,.Only a matter of time before Yellow and Whit Perch and Crappie take them too.

Look good John. I just bought some spinners, I see lots of snags in my future

That is just plain cool! Are those glow in the dark plastic tubing? Man, that mimic powerbait from Berkley. I'm surprise you didn't nail the trouts as well.

Gonna be time for spinners soon but a cold front has postponed them a bit .Once the spinner thing starts to happen it can be a good ticket for big Gills till October Nights make for colder water and slower presentations of jigs, spoons  and other slow moving lures.

David-Here's a 9.5" Gill that took a sized 2 Blue Fox Spinner.I fished it with the rod pulling ahead with a short sweep and then stopping and reelin' up slack .This is a very successful retreive for me as it drops back deeper to the fish that follows behind and underneath. I often do better with that tecnique as opposed to a steady retreive . http://bigbluegill.com/photo/9-1-2-blue-gill-on-2-spinner?context=a...

Middle spinner got thrown by a leaping Trout today .Revealed location and caught one soon afterward.

These sonic blade spinners remind me of the Panther Martins , a Trout catching lure if there ever was one.

I love spinners. Over the years they have accounted for some good fishing. If you wanted fo focus on one or two lures as go-to for almost any fish, spinners would be a good choice.

Besides, they are just fun to fish with!
