My sons first gill had a hell of a time reeling it in may not be big but his sponge bob reel broke so he was trying to reel in when the line came out it wouldn't reel in anymore to be honest I thought it was a pike so i grabbed an extra not generic rod grabbed his broken rod before he loses the fish I cut the end of his line which I had already had a loop to tie it to really fast so I pulled it off he reeled it in an said holy how did we catch him like that I told him I cut your line cut this other rods line ties your line to the working rod and we got lucky my boy.
