Remember they need oxygen also when you keep them alive....it's not a necessity to keep them alive for fishing but I prefer to start with live creatures......You won't get much movement from them regardless but the fresh smell and consistency may be an advantage.......

Wish we could get these boys in our water. Imagine our fish around here with these guys in the lakes. I think it may be a project with our Dept of Fish and Game to create a healthy population of these in our water. It won't be good for the delivering piping if they get caught in the filter mesh.
