Do you love big bluegill?
Chenille worm with marabou #12 hooks and silicon skirts and hourglass eye.
Idea came to my attention when I seen Bruce who likes to fish with whole crawlers. To remedy short strikes it's embedded with 4 number 12 Mustad 3366 hooks and an hourglass eye for a slow fall.

Yea Jim I thought of that. So far I've been lucky hope my luck continues especially with 4 hooks coming by me.
dick, awsome fly, they will suck that tail in for sure.just like they do on aplastic worm when bass fishing.you have built quite the little trap.i think the bass will be all over this too.watch your 6 when casting this.it is hard enough to keep a 1 hook fly out of the back of your head.
Yea what Tooty is saying.
No Market no web site no blog what ever that is all I want it to be is fun and for now that's what it is.
PS - foam in the tail? Perfection.
Great minds think alike....
YUP YOU ARE 100% CORRECT SCRUFFY........ BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT AND THANKFULLY OVER NOW AND CAN CONCENTRATE ON BEING LAZY ALL WINTER, JUST PACING MYSELF FOR SPRING....
People have done similar things - but you can MARKET yours tight now if you wanted to. It really is that impressive.
Start a simple website or blog, sell your flies and turn your hobby into a chore. Yessiree buddy!
McScruf I don't know if anyone else has made one. Like I said I remember Bruce on one of his Video's saying he like to use the whole crawler so I thought I'd make a bigger fly that sorta resembles a worm so I started tying and this is what I cam up with and I'm sure I will refine it more as I go on. My second edition has a longer lead hook and the rear has a little foam tied in to keep the tail upright. Haven't used them yet but in my head they should work. I'll try to get you a step by step hopefully soon have to try and get in to see the Doc my back is messed up. Later.
WELL MASTER DICK LOOKS LIKE YA DID IT AGAIN , NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO DO THESE SO GUESS YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO START DOING VIDEO'S BUDDY...... GREAT FLY BUDDY !
Id sure like to see how you did this, Dick. Some instructions or pictures, anywhere?
Like I said, Ive seen "bass worms" made from Estaz chenille, but I'll be danged if I can recall where I saw them now... wait, I got it! Ward Bean has them:
