I have two Dan Gapen books I've read several times through the years. I enjoy them and through the pages Dan comes through like an old friend ! A FISH FOR ALL SEASONS Crappie, by Dan Gapen Sr.2nd ed. 1986
The Whiskered Walleye Catfish, by Dan Gapen Sr.2nd ed. 1983

Gapen Muddler Minnow Jigs the quality catches even anglers... and the prices are phenomenal for the time and materials that go into these!

I ran into Dan Gapen a couple weeks ago, great man.  His father made that jig.  He also makes the Muddle jig that's dynamite on everything that swims.  Check out his web site for other fine tackle and informative reads.                   gapen.com
