we have golden rod here with the same mutations from the worms, they are extremely tuff to cut open so i would think they would work well.anyone ever hear of pop cane?i used to find it in the tangles along rivers and creeks after the spring floods.it is a balsa wood type material ,i always found it as a dead stalk with no bark blondish in color.about 1 inch in dia.very light like balsa with a hole in the core, sands to shape easily or cut to size and run linr thru the hole.
hahahhahahha yes sir!! that's exactly where horse weed worms are found in the summer!! a real good free bait!! and yea-- they make great floats to! brings back all kinds of memories!!
