Leo I fish an intermediate sink line. Just position myself for the cast & pray I don't hook my ear!

With that crazy open water wind condition, did you use just plain 2wt full sink, sink tip, or did you add a segment of the heavier sink line type to your 2wt to get the line deep into the water? That must have been crazy to do backcasts in the wind. I would have caught myself 10 folds over.

Yep wind was doing 20 and gusting to 30 at times

Love that fish. It went though many battles from the shape it was in. Must have a been a nice breezy day with all that chops in the background. By the way, is that the Simmon chest wader?
