great photo !!!  love to see these !!   Jeff;; I just up graded to a lowrance elite 5 chirp;; you might want to check one out ! only difference between a elite 5; and a 7;; is the size screen;; you pay extra; for a bigger screen all electronics are the same inside !!

I still love this photo!  Out fishing with Ledhed and look what we found!  The temperature sensor was not working though because this was in August.

My transducer does something similar.  When I first turn my sonar on, it will read a correct water temp for about 4 minutes, then, over the course of about 10 minutes, the temp will drop to 3 degrees F.  It will sty there for about an hour, then climb to read the correct temp, then plunge down again.  I've turned the temp reading off, and just take a temp reading with digital probe thermometer.

No, the temperature is not working correctly, but the fish finder signals are correct!  Kind of fun to release your fish back into the lake and watch it swim down on the screen.
