Over 90% of the hook sets are like this nice bluegill below…….right inside the mouth for easy pop removal which allows a good release…….

Yep John…..the bait below is the actual style that Cody had tied on under a float…..the 1/16 ounce comes with a strong #4 hook and you can step down in hook size to a #6 with the 1/32 ounce jig….it’s really a simple but well made commercial jig…..I feel strongly that the feather provides life like action and the big eyes attract fish/strikes……you can tip with a grass shrimp, live cricket, meal worm, pinched crawler, red wrigglers and I’ve done well with the little imitation gulp maggots in pink or chartreuse……the hooks are so strong I’ve had good hook to catch ratio on largemouth bass…….however I don’t like a short hook when fishing for crappie so I don’t use it to target crappie……….I buy them in five different colors but I like chartreuse best and pink/white is a close second………inexpensive and very durable…..
