Very nice Tim!  Although the dark, almost black spawning males are a good looking fish, I prefer the colors of a spawning female Redear Sunfish, with their beautiful bright yellow hues with that orange tipped "ear".

Jaw dropping work Tim, this actually looks better than the world record Cracker you did....and that's saying something!! Just an AWESOME male speciman. Redear have always been my favorite fish to hunt/catch, and this fish proves why. Your work makes it look like it was just caught off of the nest in three feet of water on a redworm...redears have the ability to get freakishly huge.
