Thanks Carl. I got tired of setting the fish on my bench next to the ruler and don't know how many flopped and back into the water. The curving of the pip seems to calm them down I only had 1 flop around and after I got him laid flat he was OK.

GOOD IDEA DICKY;; AND HOME MADE ! IN FACT ; SEVERAL YEARS AGO I MADE A FISHING ROD TRAVEL CASE IN THIS STYLE PROVED TO BE INDRUSTABLE !
