Do you love big bluegill?

First try at tying jigs

They look kinda rough, but like anything you get better with practice. I hope the gills like em and they don't just swim off with a mouth full of deer hair. lol

It rained here yesterday so I went looking for some different materials. I found a soft synthetic fiber duster for 1.50 at Family Dollar, and made a couple from it. One was orange and the other was a combination of white bucktail and blue synthetic. I like blue and white for yellow perch.

Comment by Jim Gronaw on September 17, 2012 at 1:49pm: One thing you need to remember is that often times the fish will hit the most plain and simple jig as opposed to ones that catch more of the fishermans eye. I bet all of those will catch plenty of fish...good job!
