Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The fish in April are most often caught around this wood in the shallows.....they will pile up in these areas and work the shifting wind tides to catch abundant food.......they pull out though when the water drops quickly from high winds from the North........

Yeah Carl.......we took 6 different species today......the gills pull in after the crappie and they share the same water for a couple weeks before the crappie pull out in May......never know what's going to hit next around this cover.....it's much better when the water is at pool.......low is bad here for fishing, especially when the water temps are rising.....
