jim-it is a chunck of reinforced concrete that juts out over the water near a steep dropoff.kind of ramps up putting you about 6 ft above the waterall deep weeds and large rocks.this is a very old quarry some guys bought back in the 40s.since it is just out of chicago city limits a lot of various stuff was dumped here..these guys have turned this into a little piece of paradise.with beautiful grounds.docks etc.the surrounding area is abandoned heavy industry and some rough neighbor hoods.this club is very exclusive and very hard to become a member.these guys like their privacy so not gonna describe it much more.

rod is 4'6 shakespesre micro,reel is a shakesreare kmart special.line .line is nanofil 6lb.in the other pic you can see the 1/64 sz 12 crawjig itied.was catching some gills in the rocks on the little jig when this dude showed up.he almost spooled me twice.i had 2 bigger than this one swallow hand size gills i hked on my flyrod.the other side of that treeline is the southside of chicago city limits
