Thanks Greg but if a boil is in the cards I would suggest you watch out for that spine that's running the length of his body I don't thinks the consequences would be very favorable if you ate that. I think for my first ones they turned out OK but I'll keep tying more cause I think the crawfish is in every fishes diet but they are so darn small but practice makes perfect.

Vince the are a #8 curved shank hook. Tried to keep then small for panfish.

Those look really good, Dick! What size of hook did you use? I bet a good gill, or shellcracker would gobble them up especially when they are on bed, as crawdads are notorious for raiding beds.

Carl that is a pan fish recipe so I'm using #8 hooks so I.m hoping you right and they at least catch pan fish, I know all fish eat crawdads so here's hoping.

they are a little small for me to be making but fun never the less but do take quit a bite of time to make and I know the more I make that they will start and look better and I'm sure I will be able to cut my time down at least I hope. Need some orange material for the next batch so I need to get it ordered before I forget how I made the first batch.

Dick, you've been holding out on us.  These look great.  Pinchers should have some good movement on the fall and when stripped.
