The tippet is about 3' it is either a 6X or 7X.

Thank you June I ain't lying of all my fly rods this 2wt gets used the most. Love catching fish on it love the bend and the feel of all the pulling.

The fly is still looking good. Had to get deep in a few fishes mouths they were rally taking it deep so pliers beware. The fly still holding up though.

Kent it was fun on the 2wt fly rod but most f the fun came with my granddaughter fishing with me. I have a 2wt, 4wt, and a 6wt and one more I think is a  5wt. I find myself always using the 2wt and hoping the hybrid stripers don't latch on. I've already had all my backing line emptied 3 or 4 times by them and did manage to catch 1.
