Ken I often wondered why the Michigan DNR hadn't pursued that avenue. I live a couple mile from the Michigan/Ohio border and they do fine here. I think Indiana has some hybrid striper stocking going on. I think to answer you question I think they would do well in Michigan.
Thanks Walt. Cheyenne is my biggest fisherman out ll all the grand kids. She love to fish and asks lots of question so the interest and desire are there.
Thanks Tony I can honestly say they are the first to the feed and the last to leave. I put a dozen in just to see how well they did. I think they done OK. Don't know what the life expectancy is so I know when to fish them out.
Those are my babies. 3 years ago I bought a dozen to see what they would do and as you can see they have fared good. I was a little concerned this winter with all the snow we got but they made it through another Ohio winter.
