Holy $&%@ It's GODZILLA BREAM! I've never seen anything like that!

This picture has been on facebook for a few weeks. I believe it's 4lbs4ozs, at least that's what I read on facebook. SUPER fish and looks to be a spawned out female. Imagine her with eggs?? I can't imagine the fight a fish this size would put up and not to mention your reaction when you first see her close to the boat!!

What a incredible fish!

Yep. You got it! Tons of quagga mussels issue. This is why the eastern California aqueduct is heavily enforced for the invasive species to prevent spreading, while the northern and southern aqueducts are being monitored heavily. Some of the northern waters already got infested.

Isn't Havasu home to Quagga mussels?  Can't remember for sure.

Go west, young man...go west!

*JAW TO THE GROUND*

Some body get that fish into a tank for preservation! Holy smoke!

Comment by Jim Gronaw on July 20, 2012 at 2:12pm

That has got to be well over 4...maybe a 5 pounder!?!?

Havasu is the epicenter of trophy shellcrackers! Astonishing!

WOW I'm flabbergasted what a fish I can't believe they grow that big. What a magnificent fish.
