Bruce, I'm seeing a pound and a half at 10.5"........I'll bet that fish went an honest two easy enough..............

It actually could have been two pounds.  Since I didn't want to take a chance of stressing it by weighing it I tried to take a conservative guess. :-)

It's an old abandoned limestone quarry that was converted to acreages.  Very steep banks, but only drop into about eight feet deep in most areas.  A few spots get to 12 feet deep.

Nice fish Bruce.  What kind of pit is that you're fishing in?   Looks like one of the phosphate pits around here, really straight banks into deep water.
