Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

1st batch. Need to practice on the legs but I think they will catch a fish or two.

The small dragonfly nymph I made last year worked good for me I match it out from one I got out of the my pond. Since then I found larger one's so I made these to replicate them. I hope they will work and I think they will.

Sorry Jim I forgot an important step I went down each side of the abdomen with lead then wrapped that with lead again. Flattened that with plies to make the body flat then wrapped with the dubbing.

Jim the body is made with dubbing. I don't use wire to wrap but I use 6lb test fire line instead to wrap the body and give it segmentation. Then I go over the top with clear cure goo and set it with a UV light.

I think the rubber legs are tougher but the biots look so much more life like.
