Do you love big bluegill?

Caught and released this monster Bluegill fly fishing at Lake Perris, CA from my float tube. Just shy of 13 inches!

Bob, 5 of us will be fishing Lake Perris with flies this April 11-17. Is there any way I can have a conversation with you? I grew interested in Perris from the Cal Fly mag article. Mike 408-807-4340

Sensational fish of two lifetimes! Wow!

I just noticed that this fish looks like it was hit by a fish-eating bird when it was younger and survived. Quite a scar it's got.

Hi Jeff, fishing has been really good this week- non-stop bite when I've been out there. Been fishing 4:30 - 7:30 pm. from my float tube in the far east end. Caught that big one on Tuesday, it's my personal best!

Way to go Bob! What a Bluegill! How was fishing overall?  It was over 100 degrees today. Pretty hot to be on the water after 10 AM.  You sure don't need to wear waders in that warm water!
