I was barely moving it.  The shoreline vegetation was dense, and grew within a few inches of the surface.  The key to cranking was to twitch the crank two or three times, just enough to get it beneath the surface...then pause.....pause.....................pause....................BOOM!

Yea Bruce what Tim said. Inquiring minds want to know.

Awsome fish.  How fast do you crank that bait?

First congrats on a very nice gill!

I pull cranks a lot in the summer months and it's amazing at the small fish that will hit a crankbait and it seems that all different species will hit them at times.  Great pic..
